SEC Offense Position Scores 2008

SEC Offense Position Scores

Well these numbers are not suprising at all. AJ Green was in fact the best WR in the SEC as a true freshmen. It is hard to classify Percy Harvin in anyway other than absolutely explosive. Make sure you take a look at his numbers and they will astound you. Harvin is the best at either position you want to classify him as.

Harvin posted 8.8 points per play at HB/WR. That score is more than double anyone even close.

Here are how the boys from TTown fared.

JPW had a score of 882 for 2.5 points per play. Tebow and Stafford were the class of the conference almost doubling that total.

Glen Coffee had a score of 729 for 3.14 per play and that ranks 4th. A very good score for anyone not named Harvin. Mark Ingram was also in the top 10.

Julio Jones posted a phenominal 694 points for 13.91 per play. This is good for 5th overall, but second only to AJ Green in efficiency. Bama is in need of another playmaker and Rueben Randle would really free up Jones to do damage.

Nick Walker came in 4th with 212 points and 7.31 per play. Not bad considering our offense.

The whole spreadsheet is linked at the top.
